Sheikh Hasina Passport: The interim government of Bangladesh has taken a big decision. The government has canceled all diplomatic passports issued to MPs during Sheikh Hasina's tenure. With this decision, the passport of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also been canceled. Bangladesh Home Department has given this information. The interim government led by Mohammad Yunus has canceled the diplomatic passports of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former MPs of the Awami League government. The Home Ministry announced the decision on Wednesday evening, saying that all diplomatic passports issued to MPs during the previous government would be canceled. With this move, Sheikh Hasina's diplomatic passport was also canceled. The Home Ministry stressed that this decision has been taken after consultation.

This is the reason given behind the cancellation of passport

If sources are to be believed, the interim government has also given some reasons behind the cancellation of the passport, the main reason being that more than 44 criminal cases have been registered against Sheikh Hasina so far. Some more cases may be registered now. In such a situation, it is necessary to cancel the diplomatic passport to impose restrictions on her. Along with this, the passports of the rest of the MPs issued during her tenure have also been cancelled.

Let us tell you that Sheikh Hasina had to flee Dhaka after the violent anti-reservation movement in Bangladesh. After this, the protesters also vandalized the PM's residence. Some newspapers even published news of looting of goods. Sheikh Hasina took refuge in India by landing at Ghaziabad's Hindon Airport. She is staying in Delhi. No statement has come yet after her diplomatic passport was cancelled.
